I’ve been meaning to update you all about The 2010 Challenge and the fact that I am participating in it this year! The Challenge is something that has gone on since 2005 and begins about this same time each year. The Challenge is design to help anyone (even a complete beginner) learn about Internet Marketing and get started building a profitable online business. It used to be called The Thirty Day Challenge because it involved you committing to doing something every day for 30 days. However, this year the format has changed and they are only requiring you to commit to 30 minutes a day for 7 days… then you get a 7 day break. Then, you’ll come back for 7 days of training and action steps… and then get another 7 day break. This will go on for a full 7 training modules until – voila – you’re done and you’ve learned a ton of top-notch Internet marketing information and have your very own online business to prove it.
Now, you may be wondering if this translates to network marketing and your MLM business. Kind of… but not exactly. The Challenge is more about targeting a micro-niche, developing a site, creating your own product, and then selling your product online and reaping the financial rewards from there on. However, the training that The Challenge provides is totally free and its of such high-quality that I felt like I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you about it. AND the Internet marketing principles that are being taught are relevant to the online marketing that you do for your network marketing business…you will simply have to choose to view the training from that perspective. Here’s a video that basically outlines the core philosophy behind The Challenge and how they carry you through the different training towards developing your online business.
Now, having shared the awesomeness that is The Challenge, I want to make sure that I remind you about the importance of focus and commitment. I believe that those two things, coupled with consistent action, are the keys to success in anything you do. So, if you’re focused on building your network marketing business (which hopefully you are) then you should either not get distracted by The Challenge OR view it through the lens of YOUR business goals. Ask yourself, “Can I use this information to grow my MLM business online?” and if you find yourself answering “No” then put it on a shelf for another time and go back to your building your business

Cool! But you might want to check your comment plugin more often. You seem to be taking on some spam comments. I had exactly the same issue myself. So nowadays I look at everything carefully.

Hi Dustin, thanks for your comment. Comment spammers are getting more and more cleaver… I’ve been working on new ways to alleviate this issue but it has become increasing challenging to determine what’s spam and what isn’t! *argh*
My blog is running on WP too. I really like this… updates keep the system secure, free themes give lots of nice designs and the look and feel of WP is just great! I love it!
