Network Marketing and SEO: Part 4 – WordPress SEO Tips

wordpress seo tipsBesides My Lead System Pro, WordPress is probably my most favorite tool on the Internet. It’s open-source (free), versatile (you can do a lot with it), and Google LOVES it! Though you can do a lot more with it, WordPress is primarily used for creating blogs and if you’re network marketer who want to present themselves in a professional manner, I highly suggest you get yourself setup with a WordPress blog hosted on your own domain. I’m not going to explain how to install and setup a blog in this video, instead this video will show you how to automate most of the on-page SEO factors I discussed in the last video (part 3). Enjoy!

Um, why would one wanna use the plugin called “SEO Friendly Images”? Seriously.

Automating the process of adding alt tags to your pictures is such a stupid idea. Alt tags should describe your pictures. And I greatly doubt that you’re using the same pictures all over your website.

Do it by hand instead. It’s much better for your SEO, and it honestly does not take that long. It’s like, 2 seconds :)

Hi Nabil, you certainly can add your alt tags manually, which I do some of the time. However, using the “SEO Friendly Images” plugin allows you to automate the alt tagging process. I have forgotten to add alt tags in the past and I certainly prefer the plugin insert my keyword in the alt tag for me rather than having that tag be forgotten altogether. That’s the great thing about WordPress plugins, don’t you think? You can use the ones you want and leave the ones you don’t – your choice :) I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

  2. Well written, or should I say well video’d SEO tips. :) Thanks for the video and for emphasizing how important SEO is, not only to wordpress but to any site on the internet. It gives us relevant high quality traffic that we shouldn’t let pass us.
